A little NBHA History 

The NBHA headquarters are located in Augusta, Georgia. It is the largest barrel racing organization in the world. In 1992. the NBH revolutionized the barrel racing industry by pioneering the divisional format, which allows riders of all skill levels a chance to win money and prizes in barrel racing competition.

NBHA has over 23,000 members of all ages across the United States and affiliates in five countries: Canada, Italy, France, Panama and the Netherlands.

NBHA's official home office events to date have paid out $8,038,985 dollars. The added money is approaching the $2 million dollar mark!

 The unltimate goal of NBHA competition is to qualify for the prestigious NBHA Word Championships, The Youth & Teen World Championships, held the first week of August and the Open & Senior World Championships are held in November annually. 

Regions:

The states are broke into "regions" There are seven regions through out the United States. California is in the "Frontier" region, which also covers three other states, being Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii.

CALIFORNIA

In California alone there are 13 districts that are broken up by the different counties. Currently, District 15 runs  Fresno, Kings, and Tulare counties. District 14 runs Inyokern. Do to the memberships in some of the counties becoming so large, the NBHA has decided to create a new district.  Which is where district 11 was introduced to cover the Kern county area.

In doing this we hope that members will not have to travel as far to compete on a monthly basis. Keeping there expenses minimal.
